Janet McIntyre: Consultant and Certified Coach

Janet McIntyre works with nonprofit organizations’ staff and board members in areas of organizational development and leadership development.  She is a certified professional coach, facilitator, and trainer with over 20 years of professional experience in the nonprofit sector.  In addition to coaching and organizational consulting, she facilitates board and/or staff retreats, and designs and delivers trainings on such topics as coaching for managers, team building, creating a culture of fundraising, and board development.

Currently Janet is the VP of Programs and Training at Executive Service Corps of Southern California where she oversees two leadership institutes: Wells Fargo Executive Directors Leadership Institutes and the Developing Development Program for which she also serves as the lead instructor.

Upon graduating from Occidental College with a BA in Public Policy and minor in Asian Studies, Janet worked in arts and cultural organizations for over 15 years.  Most recently, she was executive director of the Hollywood Arts Council.  Prior to that she was the director of development at Classical KUSC Public Radio and worked in various development roles at the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Hollywood Bowl.

Janet earned an Executive Master of Leadership from the Price School of Public Policy with an emphasis on nonprofit management at the University of Southern California, and she earned her certification in coaching at the Coaches Training Institute.
