Consultants

RoadMap’s consultants represent a diverse brain trust whose experience touches every movement and nearly every aspect of capacity building, and have been embedded in every aspect of social justice organizations—from front-line organizers to infrastructure strategists and builders. They work with social justice and movement teams of all sizes to weather—and stay the course through—political storms and navigate organizational growth spurts and challenges.

Our consultants are compassionate and dynamic problem solvers. They support clients to co-analyze challenges, questions, and opportunities; develop strategy and build project plans; implement strategic plans; benchmark success and pivot when challenges arise; and evaluate impact and future opportunities for growth.

RoadMap operates as a conduit and catalyst for collaboration—between clients and our consultant ecosystem, and also the broader, interconnected web of progressive, movement-rooted shops all working together to support and strengthen movements. Through our intentional intake process we uncover an organization’s needs, challenges, and opportunities and then leverage our deep understanding of the unique capabilities of our consultants to match organizations with consultants and tailor a scope of work to help an organization work towards its capacity building goals. And we also are happily in community and collaboration with other shops dedicated to fortifying, strengthening, and supporting movements, movement leaders and movement organizations.
