Cohort Programming
RoadMap has partnered with dozens of foundations and national organizations to provide high quality, accessible, and customized capacity-building support to their grantee partners. Through this work, 180 organizations have completed direct capacity projects, nearly 500 organizations have attended our workshops and trainings, and 30+ multi-year cohorts have been designed by RoadMap.
Our capacity-building cohort programs are designed specifically for foundations that are committed to strengthening the sector by investing in the infrastructure building and programmatic work of their grantees. These programs encompass a wide range of offerings, including comprehensive training series and workshops tailored to meet the unique needs of each grantee cohort. We also provide direct assistance, assessments, and coaching.
What makes our cohort programming special?
Our cohort experiences create a collaborative and supportive learning environment for grantees. Grantees receive direct assistance from our consultants, take part in custom training and offerings, and benefit from tools that measure their progress. As facilitators, we value open dialogue and foster a sense of community among grantees, enabling them to learn from one another. Our approach to hands-on support means we prioritize personalized guidance around collective pain points. A collaborative cohort experience grounded in shared learning and a community of practice allows grantees to refine their strategies while driving impact.
Sample Offerings
Unique to RoadMap is our ability to customize existing programming and develop new programming to support the specific needs of a cohort. Because our bench of consultants often come from the movements we support, they are well aware of the fact that current content may need tweaking and adapting, and that new content needs to be developed to directly address the ever evolving political, economic, and environmental issues movement organizations are facing especially in turbulent times. Below are sample offerings; if your cohort has a programmatic need not reflected in this list, complete this intake form so we can talk more about your needs.
