Navigating Organizational Grief with Richael Faithful + Griffin Moore

How can capacity builders equip themselves to support organizations and groups navigating layers of grief? In this conversation with RoadMap consultants Richael Faithful (creator of the Organizational Grief Model) and Griffin Moore (conversation host), they talk about Richael’s experiences with grief in movement spaces, why tending to grief in organizations is critical, how the model can be used, and more.

This model was finalized and launched with the support of RoadMap’s Community of Praxis project, through which RoadMap consultants experience a three-part cycle including (1) evaluation to more deeply understand what movement clients need to meet this moment; (2) collective learning to build capacity building skills to better fulfill those needs, and, based on that learning; (3) creating and sharing contributions to the field of radical capacity building. These efforts better equip movements to fight authoritarianism and build practices and systems rooted in liberation, healing, and justice.
