What do you do as a consultant/coach?

I am honored to accompany movement organizations/folks in being more solidly based in relationships, clear in direction, aligned with values, choosing organizational change — and continuity – to stand in their power and dignity, contributing to liberation. Areas of focus:

  • Board development
  • Organizational assessment and change process
  • Coaching for healing, liberation, leadership

What is your approach?

I approach consulting/coaching as a sacred trust and a joyful adventure. It is ultimately about liberation at all levels of system (individual, interpersonal, institutional, structural)

For organizational change, we initiate learning that leads to collaboratively setting priorities, rooting cultural practices, rethinking structures and ways of operating, experimenting and reflection.

Individual and team coaching clients experience a guided process of pausing, centering, focusing, tuning in for discernment, and being fully present to life and leadership.

I bring to the work a love of learning, analysis, embodied practice, a sense of humor and spiritual grounding.

My work is to unleash the spark of creativity and responsibly work with cultivating transformation.

How has your experience/background contributed to your work?

For as long as I can remember, my life has followed a passion for justice — from teen years speaking for voting rights, seeking political education from local Black power and feminist groups, and learning about prison conditions — to community organizing, co-founding a grassroots social justice fund, being part of faith-based activism, and building toward economic solidarity. Consulting and coaching are ways that I get to continue that pursuit, connecting self and social transformation.
